Anthony Evans is an attorney where he represents insureds in automobile liability, premises liability, and other bodily injury litigation matters. He brings a distinctive advantage to defense work: five years of experience representing plaintiffs in high-volume personal injury litigation, giving him more insight into litigation, techniques, and strategies for his clients.
Before joining Stone, Glass & Connolly, LLP, Anthony represented injured clients at two of Florida’s largest plaintiffs’ firms, Farah & Farah and Morgan & Morgan, where he managed caseloads of over 200 files and guided cases through every stage of litigation, including mediations, depositions, hearings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. He also served as Managing Attorney at J. Garcia Law Firm, P.A., overseeing personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home litigation matters, and began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, prosecuting cases through jury trial.
Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he was a member of the Trial Team and received Book Awards in Trial Advocacy and Maritime Law. As a law student, he competed nationally in trial advocacy, advancing to the top ten at the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy National Championship and winning the Regional Championship in the same competition. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a double major in Management and Finance, from the University of South Carolina.
Anthony was born and raised in South Carolina. Over time he has developed a love for cooking; everything from down-home southern dishes to very healthy and clean alternatives. He enjoys spending time with his wife, staying active through sports – he could use some help with his swing though, and cheering on his Gamecocks.
